Inspired.

Do you ever come across a look that inspires you SO much that it's engraved in your mind, just waiting to be duplicated? And all you want to do is mimic the look ASAP? Well that's basically what happened to me when I came across this photo:

It was heaven for me. Everything about it. The neutral colors, the beautiful beading detail on the gorgeous dress, the unexpected hat and boots paired with the gorgeous dress, the casual yet oh-so-hot pose of the model, etc. etc. etc.
And then I remembered, I had recently purchased a very similar dress at a Goodwill for only $10.99!! I had been wanting an AA floppy wool hat for awhile. I was stuck between the camel and the silver belly shade. Then this picture told me "Get the camel, like now...and duplicate this photo with your amazing vintage dress!" And so... that's what happened. I had also recently purchased the Sam Edelman Falken boots....so these really worked out perfectly, as they were so similar to the boots used in the photo.
Ahhhh.... such a GREAT feeling this gave me. I had so much fun taking the photos...I knew I loved this dress when I first set eyes on it. I just didn't know HOW MUCH until I saw this photo. Who doesn't love to be inspired, right??

  12. Woweee! That outfit came together so beautifully!
Love that dress & so hard to believe you only paid about $11 for it!

The boots match the silver in the dress so well & the irridescant sequins make it shine!

    Excellent!
