Threadflip: A New Way to Buy/Sell Online!

I'm sure I'm not the only girl who knows her closet could use some spring cleaning/de-cluttering, so when I was introduced to this new buy/sell site: Threadflip, I felt perhaps my prayers have been answered?

Threadflip seems to take all the hassle out of selling/getting rid of your unworn clothing and accessories -- how, you ask? Well it's simple! First off, it takes seconds to start an account -- you can even login from facebook (which is great because it can connect you with any friend who might already have a facebook account, plus it can let all your friends know when you've posted a new item in your shop)! Then, after you've scoured through your closet and dresser drawers to find items you are going to part with, you just snap photos and list them on the Threadflip site. Once an item sells, Threadflip mails you a box and all shipping materials to your house to package up the item and ship out to it's new owner! It's free to post/sell -- Threadflip just takes a 20% transaction fee to cover shipping and handling costs. Once the USPS tracking number appears in the system, your account will be credited!

Think it doesn't get easier than that?? Au contraire my sweet friends, Threadflip has a "white glove service" that takes "easy" to a whole new level! They do the job of snapping the photos and shipping the item FOR YOU!! All you have to do is order a box, then once it arrives fill it with the items you plan on selling (gently worn clothing, shoes, and accessories -- even vintage items!!). Then Threadflip does all the rest! They photograph, list, sell, and ship the items out to their new owners! Once the items sell, you receive a check! It's THAT easy!

I have to say that I'm usually not quick to join a service such as this, only because I just don't think my items will really sell. BUT, when I think about all the items I either throw away, donate, or bring to local consignment shops for a little extra cash -- I figure, why not give it a shot??

Oh, and I can't forget to mention that Threadflip even has a mobile app! Now it's even easier to buy/sell when it's at your fingertips 24/7!

I recently came across Anna Jame's Threadflip Closet (one of my fave bloggers from the blog: Fash Boulevard). When I read on her blog that her first listed item sold in less than 24 hrs I was shocked -- this site really does work! Even the gorgeous blogger Liz Cherkasova, from the blog Late Afternoon, has a Threadflip Closet!!

Now I'm hunting through my closet to find pieces to fill my Threadflip!

P.S. Still not convinced that Threadflip is your answer for selling your unwanted items? Well then you must check out what there is to BUY! Threadflip has vintage (music to my ears!), designer, and unique pieces!

Check it out and be sure to let me know if you decide to buy or sell -- I'd love to hear your your thoughts and experience with the site! :)

*Disclosure: Although this is a sponsored post, I would not agree to post on a company/brand/business that I did not support or believe in.
