Exciting News!

Courtney's dress: Boden c/o & bow moccasins: Coral Pear c/o

I'm so thrilled to finally share with y'all this exciting news! You might have seen my last outfit post where I said I had something really exciting to announce this week -- well, this is it! :) We are over the moon and cannot wait for January 2015. I can't wait to style a new, growing baby bump for y'all. It's a challenge, but so much fun. You might have followed along with me on my previous pregnancy, when I was pregnant with Courtney. I cannot get over how big she is now (she'll be 19 months on July 6th). She's so much fun and each day just gets better and better with her. We can't wait for her to be a big sister!

Y'all may or may not have noticed that my posts haven't quite been on schedule as they usually are. That's because I've been experiencing some on again off again morning sickness for the past 12 weeks. Some days I really had no desire to post, so I didn't.... while other days I was eager to get back. I'll be 13 weeks this Wednesday. I took a break from the gym, and for a couple of reasons. For one, I had a miscarriage my first pregnancy (back in 2011), so I couldn't help but be worried that it could happen again. I know God has a plan for us all, and that everything happens for a reason. I also know that working out won't hurt your body (or your baby) if you have already been working out for awhile. Which I have, but I just wanted to be extra careful and take things easy. Plus, I really had no energy to even want to hit the gym and the nausea didn't help either. The nausea hasn't quite left yet. I'm hoping it will in the next couple weeks. Right now I'm experiencing pretty bad headaches, which isn't fun. I have to also add that with this pregnancy I find myself a lot more tired than I was before. I know that's definitely due to the fact that I'm chasing around a toddler this time, and she can wear me out. :) In a good way though.
All and all I really can't complain too much. I remember how sick I was when I was pregnant with Courtney -- my morning sickness was AWFUL. I couldn't keep anything down. But even with the uncomfortable moments that come with pregnancy, they are all worth it. Being pregnant is such a wonderful blessing from God. Each ultrasound I'm full of so much emotion. Just reminds you how precious life is -- babies are true miracles.

We feel so blessed and I am looking forward to sharing this amazing journey with all of you. xo!
