We traveled to Birmingham, AL this past weekend for my sweet friend's wedding (it was AWESOME). My travel uniform for car or plane ride is usually a pair of skinnies/boyfriend jeans, a simple tee, and a vest or utility jacket. However, since I'm currently prego, I'm all about extra comfort in my waist so denim (even maternity) is out of the question for a 4 hour drive. I went with my go-to elastic waist shorts. I love this pair from Zara because they are faux leather, so they're sleek and can easily be dressed up or down (see similar options below). This pair is great because it isn't maternity, yet it is uber comfy. Another go-to top for traveling is a good striped top. Stripes are so classic and help you look put together even if you're going for a casual look. It's a refreshing change from the usual v-neck tee. This one is from Seraphine Maternity. It's a nursing top, so I can wear it even after I have the baby. I love Seraphine Maternity because the majority of their clothing can be worn before, during, and after pregnancy. I can wear this top long after my pregnancy and nursing days. Now on to my vest... I love a good vest, and a denim vest is such a great staple to have in your closet. You can wear it over numerous tops and even dresses. You can even wear it with jeans (I prefer to keep the washes different, rather than match). I love the lighter wash of this vest by James Jeans. I finished off my look with some comfortable sandals by Call It Spring (can't get enough of them). Of course, a swipe of a red lip and a coordinating red handbag is always a fun way to brighten up a casual look. I'm currently obsessing over this new bag from Ellen Vicius, so I'm apologizing in advance as you'll probably see it on heavy rotation. ;)

Did y'all have a fun weekend? Do anything fun?
