Indian Summer

{swimsuit: Lisa Blue c/o // sunglasses: Hammock and Palms c/o // cover-up: Karen Kane c/o (sold out, similar styles HERE/HERE/HERE)}

The weather in FL has been quite off and on as of late, which is pretty much the norm for the months leading up to Christmas. A couple days we'll have cool, crisp temps that beg for light sweaters and boots, then the next day we're back in the 80's.
Case in point, this past Sunday when it was the perfect beach weather. Not too hot and the water was still warm enough to frolic around in. I received this gorgeous bikini from Lisa Blue Swimwear weeks ago, but we've either been away in Tallahassee for football games or we've had rain. Finally last Sunday was the perfect moment to catch the sunset and take some nice pics.
I was silly to think that we could come to the beach to snap a few pics and NOT have to bring some beach toys or a swimsuit for Court. I mean, did I really think my baby girl who's seriously obsessed with the beach and water in general would just sit still and watch us? Sheesh, pregnancy brain has been killin' me lately. Luckily Court found a couple abandoned toys on the beach and we stripped her down to her diaper so she could splash around. She's seriously the sweetest ever lately and makes us laugh so hard. Throughout my pregnancy we've been pointing to my belly and saying "baby" to her... never really thinking she knew that an actual baby was inside me. Ever since we took her to my last ultrasound appointment it's like it suddenly clicked for her. Which is crazy because she's still so young (she turns two this Dec). Now she pets my belly sweetly with her little hands and says "bayybeee" and even kisses my belly saying "mmmwah!" Melts my heart everytime. We don't even have to tell her to do it, she just does it on her own. I know she's going to be the best big sister to this precious new baby boy or girl.

On a side note, I'm loving the mixed floral and leopard print in this bikini and almost wish we had more beach days ahead of us, so I had more time to enjoy it. I'm also really loving these new cat-eye sunnies c/o Hammock and Palms. They are made from 100% bamboo y'all ... isn't that the coolest? They are super light weight and offer perfect protection with polarized lenses. Their polarized lenses offer 7 layers of protection. You can read all about these awesome sunnies HERE!

I hope y'all are having a great week so far! Don't forget to check out the SHOPBOP Friends & Family sale! It only lasts a couple more days! Use code: FAMILY25 for 25% off your total purchase(s). You can check out what I'm craving HERE!
