New Flares

If you've been following for awhile than you know my love for denim. I've been reviewing denim on Denimology.com for four years now, and discovering new brands is one of my fave parts of the job. I recently received this pair of from a brand that is pretty new to scene: Schoen By Yu. The brand was created by renowned fit model, Lindsey Schoen, and veteran designer, Michelle Yu. This pair I'm wearing is their "Bombshell" and it's a high-waisted trouser flare. Flares and bell-bottoms will always be my favorite. It's their 70's boho chic feel that I cannot get enough of. I'll be writing a full review on these jeans for Denimology.com very soon, so stay tuned for that. To finish off the boho-chic vibe I was after, I paired these flares with my go-to fave tank (seriously, y'all need a pair or 2 or 3 or 4 -- the fit is perfect and the price cannot be beat!), one of my fave vintage tribal long vests, an eye-catching vintage statement necklace and a great pair of wooden wedges. It's 70's with a modern feel.

P.S. I recently went super blonde, can y'all tell? I'm loving it, just wish the humidity didn't make it so flat in these photos (good 'ol FL weather). We're on our way to Myrtle Beach, SC for a few days and the weather channel says rain all week! :( Praying for a bit of sunshine for our little vacay.
