Pops of Color

{top: Joe's Jeans (old, but similar style here & here) // denim: Big Star c/o (in a darker wash here) // sandals: Dr. Scholl's Shoes c/o (more options below!) // bag: Hola Amiga Shop c/o // earrings: H&M // sunnies: Ray-Ban // bracelets: The Ropes Maine c/o}

Whenever I am wearing a neutral outfit I always try to add pops of color in my accessories (Y'all know I love my color). Since the majority of this look was white, I added pops of color in my earrings, bag, and sunnies. My coral lip was also a nice pop of color, and I am LOVING this coral shade at the moment (it lasts all day too!). These earrings were under $8!! Such a score, right?! Green is my fave color and I love me some tassel or fringe earrings (did you catch my recent post?), so I know these babies will be on my ears a lot this summer!
Another great tip when dressing in a neutral palette, or otherwise minimal outfit, is to wear texture or pieces with unique details. This eyelet top is right on trend and eyelet is so classic for the spring and summer. These patchwork jeans have great patchwork detailing down the legs that make them anything but ordinary. My sandals are right on trend too! Did you know that flats are all the rage this season? Slides, sneakers, flatforms, espadrilles -- you name it! I love these sandals! They're not only incredibly comfortable, but the white color is fresh and the big buckle and thick sole give it some edge.
What trends are you loving this summer? How do you love adding pops of color to your looks?
