After Labor Day weekend I am more than ready to embrace all of what fall has to offer. Chunky knits, blanket scarves, OTK boots, and more importantly, pumpkin spice lattes. One fall trend I’m most excited about is the 70’s. I’ve mentioned in previous posts that the 70’s is hands down my favorite fashion decade. Flared pants, fringe, rich suede, OTK boots – I can go on and on. With trends we always talk about dressing the body, but what about the face? My go-to for fall makeup is typically ditching my bright pink lipsticks for rich wine hues, or going for a darker eyebrow pencil. This season I’m switching things up and letting the focus go to my eyes! No, I’m not talking about a smokey eye or winged eyeliner, I’m talking about channeling the 70’s with BOLD LASHES!!! To achieve a 70’s makeup look, it’s all about a minimalist approach. Focusing on a fresh face with long thick lashes, versus a bold cheek and lip. When it comes to minimalist makeup there’s one product that stands out above the rest, and that’s mascara. The 70’s was all about escaping from the 60’s faux lashes and smokey eyes. Thanks to Wet n Wild’s new MVP Mascara, we can get the Jane Birkin look without having to invest so much. Their new MVP Mascara amps lashes up to 10x the volume! I know what you’re thinking, another mascara that claims to give me volumized lashes – but how is this mascara different from the rest? Well, for one, the proprietary rubber brush has a tapered design, which helps you reach each and every lash (i.e. no more clumps). The formula is a blend of Macadamia Nut, Jojoba, and Olive oils that condition the lashes, while D-Panthenol helps to promote lash health. Think of the Wet n Wild MVP Mascara as a love potion for your lashes! ;)

Thanks to Wet n Wild’s MVP Mascara, I can embrace my 70’s wild child all season long with beautiful, bold lashes!
