Hey loves! I hope your week is off to a fabulous start!! I'm excited to share this cute shoot I did recently with my sweet girls. I honestly wish I could have more shoots like this because I love having pictures with them, but it's so hard to photograph them. If you only knew how long it actually takes to get these images then you would understand the frustration. In between these shots was some whining, fighting and even a little crying. We did get Bridgett to dance a little bit by singing one of her fave songs, "Hop like a bunny" which you can probably pick out from one of the images of her. ;) Too funny. If you have little ones of your own then you definitely understand the task of taking photos of your kids. You basically shoot as fast as you can and hope that you get some good shots. Courtney is 3 1/2 and Bridgett is 16 months. Courtney poses for 5-10 minutes and then she's done. Bridgett, on the other hand, hates taking pictures and if we catch her smiling we are really lucky. Even through all the chaos, I look at these photos and get a little sad because they are growing up so fast. I know one day they wont want to take pics with me (I can hear it now, "Mom you're embarrassing us!"). Until then, I'm cherishing every moment.

I am loving these bright dresses on them! Lately all Court wants to wear are dresses, so she's been patiently waiting to wear this one from the moment we opened the package. The colors are so fun and I'm especially in love with the print on B's dress -- can this come in my size please? I also wish I had a pair of jellies that matched theirs because I think they are so darling. Plus, I'm such a fan of jellies (minus when they get rocks stuck in the soles, that really sucks).

I love the flowy-ness of this skirt and the graphic print is also really great. It has a bit of a tribal feel to it which y'all know I love. It's really light-weight too, so perfect even in those hot summer temps. Another way I would style this skirt would be with a bright colorful top -- neon would be so fun!

If you're a longtime follower of mine then you know I have to incorporate some color into my looks, and if it's not with my clothing then it's definitely with my shoes, bag or accessories. Here I added pops of pink with my bag and lip color. Then I added some turquoise with this fun vintage necklace and these earrings (that I cannot stop wearing as of late). Turquoise is a color that can be worn with just about everything and it's flattering on everyone.

What do you think of our looks? Which one is your fave? Do you have any tips and tricks on how to successfully shoot your kids -- or perhaps you have a funny story to share? I would love to hear it in the comments below! xx
