Fall Shoe Crush: Over-The-Knee Boots

If there's one thing I get excited to wear the most when it comes to fall fashion, it is without a doubt: BOOTS! Ankle, Riding, Midi -- I love them all! However, when it comes to this shoe addicts top boot crush for fall it is without a doubt a good over-the-knee style. Whether you're looking for a flat style, or one with a heel -- DSW has the hook-up, and y'all it is GOOD!

DSW has been my go-to shoe source for years (peep my latest posts with them here, here & here). You can't go wrong with the large assortment of on-trend styles that they have available in store or online AND the prices are always easy on the wallet. I was needing some new OTK boots in my life, and decided to go with a style that I don't already own. This pair is by Marc Fisher (one of the many fab designers that DSW carries) and it combines my love for anything boho-chic as well as my love for comfortable shoes (I mean, who doesn't love when style meets comfort, right?). Most of my OTK boots that I already own are tighter on the leg. I like how this style has more of a relaxed feel to it, yet it still stays high on the leg and doesn't slouch (which can be annoying). The chunky heel means these boots are totally made for walkin' -- and that's just what this gal will do ;) (sorry, cheesy, but I had to).

I typically pair my OTK styles with dresses (either knit or peasant style), but I also wear them with denim and sweaters. This time I wanted to switch things up a bit and style them in a new way. Since the boots already have a boho-chic vibe, I decided to mix things up a bit and style it in more of a sleek and sophisticated vibe, for some contrast and also because I love an unpredictable look.

I pulled out one of my fave jackets of all-time: this colorful southwest style that I snagged last year at H&M. If you're a longtime follower of mine then you know my obsession with statement jackets and this one was just too good to pass up. I ditched the sash and went with a vintage leather one with a great silver buckle for some added flair. I finished my look with a sleek leather mini, my vintage YSL bag, and my rad new sunnies by Victoria Beckham.

My look can take me from the office to happy hour -- it's chic with just the right amount of edge -- just the way I like it. :)

What do y'all think of my look? Are you a fan of OTK boots? If so, how do you style yours? Feel free to leave me some love below, and as always, thanks for stopping by! xo P.S. Shop more OTK styles from DSW here!
