Happy -almost- Friday darlings! :D I donned this oh-so-fun vintage dress last weekend and all I wanted to do was swirl and twirl around in it! Love how retro it is -- very Mad Men, no? Of course, the green definitely had me at hello (have I told you that green is my all-time fave color?). Love the plaid print as well -- really this dress would be too perfect for St. Patty's Day -- wouldn't you agree??! Since this dress is very vintage and retro, I wanted to modernize it with my accessories -- so I went with my trusty black cat-eye sunnies, one of my fave black vintage belts and a pair of black sexy heels (thank you Prabal Gurung x Target, you're a genius). Oh, and I cannot forget to mention my Granny's clear crystal necklaces -- aren't they gorg?! Love clear accessories -- especially vintage, and these necklaces are so special to me.
Hey dolls! Sorry for the lack of outfit posts this week, I was on travel (in TX) and just returned last night! Man was it hard being away from my sweet little girl. I was only gone from Sunday to Tuesday, but that was TOO LONG in my book! I wore this fun outfit last weekend to do some thrift shopping and grab some lunch with my beau. Good thing he enjoys visiting the thrift stores (maybe not as much as I do, but of course)! He has snagged some goodies himself -- such as designer vintage ties by Dior, Givenchy, YSL and more! By the way, how awesome is this scarf?! I could not wait to style it -- the colors are so bright and the print is definitely eye catching. I decided to wear it belted over one of my fave blazers (green is my fave color). This is one of my fave ways to wear scarves. Really dresses it up a bit and can really liven up a shirt or blazer. Of course, a great belt definitely helps! This vintage Judith Leiber bullet belt is one of my absolute fave thrift finds! Would you believe I snagged it for under $5?! I wore this feline friendly outfit last weekend, mainly because I've been itching to wear three of these items for awhile. The sweater cardi is a fave of mine, and I try to break it out at least once every winter. The tank is something I received from WildLifeWorks, and I've been waiting for the perfect outfit to wear it with. The panther pin is a vintage find I snagged a few years ago. It's one of my fave possessions. Isn't it just awesome? Love his green eyes too! This past weekend I took advantage of our freezing cold temps and broke out one of my fave vintage coats! I'm finally back into some of my fave jeans and these bell-bottoms from Dittos have been patiently waiting in my closet. I received them while I was pregnant and of course I was unable to wear them because they are high-waisted, but now they fit like a glove. ;) Bell bottom jeans are my absolute fave style of jean to wear. Must be my love for the 70's. With my big sunnies, faux fur coat, and bell-bottom jeans -- my look was very 70's glam, but I modernized it with my bright pink J.Crew sweater and Olivia & Joy handbag. The weather is FL is absolutely FREEZING right now!!! We went from high 70's, even low 80's, to 40's and 50's!! I know I can't really complain, since many of you are experiencing snow and temps below the 30's, but this FL girl is ready for heat and spring clothing! Snagged this chunky mustard turtleneck a couple weekends ago for $5. I had been lusting for a mustard turtleneck ever since I set eyes on the Elin Kling for Marciano version. Elin's version was over $200, so I'm happy to have found a much cheaper version. Gah, I love thrifting! ;) Happy Monday loves! xo
