Blue Tights && New Shoes

'Ello everyone! (: I was excited to shoot some photos today w/ these electric blue tights && my new addition to the shoe fam, Marc by Marc Jacobs heels [purchased at my fave vintage shop in St. Pete: Misred Outfitters].
Today I was feeling the rugged, yet chic look... the belt I'm wearing is one of my faves. It was a goodwill purchase & it's a great accessory to have when you wanna add a big burst of color to any outfit. The tights I'm wearing were a target purchase awhile back & I'm just now wearing them for the first time. I knew I'd find the right moment to drag them out of the closet, and today was just that moment. My peacock earrings were purchased awhile back at Forever21 [but you can still find these earrings just about anywhere]. My necklace and bracelets are vintage && my watch is Michael Kors. The cream dress I'm wearing is by Pip & Puck and it was purchased at a boutique in St Pete about a year ago. The dress is a size Large, which is a size that I usually don't wear...but that's when a belt can really make a difference. I have a few dresses in my closet that are wayyy too big for me...but then I plop on a belt and their just right! Another good dress tip: if you ever find a dress that has straps on it and it's only available in a larger size? No worries at all my friend... you have two options...you can take it to an alteration shop and have them take in the straps (and the sides if necessary) Or... you can do what I did with my red/zipper/bandage dress && wear a tank under the dress and let it hang a little low. You'd be surprised how cute it looks and it really can switch up the look. Just sayin...
