Let's get to business...
Today I decided to do a shoot w/ one of my fave dresses...my vintage leopard dress. Well, let's be honest...it's really a night gown, but why wear this pretty lil thing to bed when you can throw a blazer && a belt over it, add some haute wedges and a vintage Moschino bag, toss on some accessories..and voila! FABULOUS. Don't you agree? That's one of the main reasons why I love vintage. This is one of two pieces I have that are vintage "PJ's" and you'd never guess when it's paired with the trendiest pieces. My Moschino bag was SUCH A GREAT FIND. You have no idea. I purchased it at a consignment shop in Tampa, and let me just tell you that the woman selling this piece had it in the "cheap- - I don't think anyone would want this junk" bin. Little did she know she had a gem in her hands. I was happy to purchase, but of course! (:
My wrists bear a Vabene "pirate inspired" toy watch and my fave [bc you've seen it in many of my photos] black, Tory Burch lucite cuff.
Vintage rings are gracing my fingers...one of which being a ring that I've had for over ten years that my little brother had given me. It never leaves my finger.
My shoes are Cynthia Vincent for Target. I raced to Target when I first set eyes on these in a People Style Watch mag.
All in all, I'm in a good mood this week, as I will be heading home [Destin, FL] for a wedding and fun times w/ friends. Yippee!! (:
Oh! && I can't forget to report that I've just purchased the HOTTEST Henry Holland Suspender tights && a pair of the cutest Marc by Marc Jacobs heels, purchased from my fave Vintage shoppe in the St Pete area: Misred Outfitters[I will feature the shoes on my blog soon...so stay tuned].
