Hey lovelies! It's time for another giveaway! :)
I stumbled upon this shop on etsy and was mesmerized by the beautiful gem stones! A lot of the jewelry in the Flow Designs Shop reminded me of the ocean...so pristine. I was stoked when Leslie, the owner, agreed to do a giveawawy!


Q&A w/ Leslie

1.) Tell us a little about Flow Designs.
F L O W Designs' collection of one-of-a-kind and limited edition jewelry designs features hand-selected gemstones, freshwater pearls and precious metals of the highest quality. Each jewelry design is heavily influenced by different places I have traveled to over the years (you may recognize some of the design names). The color, faceting and luster of the stones and pearls reflect different aspects of nature's beauty; whether it is a warm desert sun or the beautiful aquamarine tones of the ocean. Each piece of F L O W jewelry is designed to adorn the spirit and enlighten the soul.

About the Designer
I launched F L O W Designs in the summer of 2003. Before designing jewelry, I spent many years in marketing. The travel and experience was great, but it didn't fit my life long passion for art and design. After having my first child and stepping out of the 9-5 working world, I found the time to explore the art of jewelry making, which I promptly fell in love with! I live with my husband and two daughters in Boulder, Colorado, where I find a constant "flow" of artistic inspiration. - Leslie Chandler

2.) How did you come up with the name "Flow Designs?"
I was listening to a news article about an author who was taking a train from Washington, D.C. to New York. He began writing a new novel on the train, and explained how he attained a state of "flow" wherein he wrote his greatest work yet. However, in this state of flow, he completely lost track of time and reality, and ended up in Boston! Designing jewelry is where I find my flow :-)

3.) What inspires you to create your beautiful pieces?
Being outside in beautiful, natural environments. I live in the mountains, but can't get enough of the ocean and coastal areas... this is where I get my greatest inspiration.

4.) What type of girl do you envision wearing your creations?
Because I sell on Etsy, I have the good fortune to have direct contact with my customers. It really runs the gambit: young professional in NYC; bridesmaids, mother of the bride, artist in L.A., clothing designer in Japan!

5.) What's your fave item in your shop?
For fall, my Ebb & Flow Earrings with Whisky Topaz.

6.) What's your own personal style like?
I live in Boulder, CO, where things aren't too flashy. I love earth tones and try to wear clothes that are current. When at the shore, I love to wear ocean tones and lots of feminine, flowing designs.
