It's that time again! :) Giveaway time!! And the Gamut etsy shop is nothing less than adorable... :)

Q&A w/ Gamut

1.) Tell us a little about Gamut, and how did you come up with that name for your shop?
Like alot of artists, I come from a very creative family. I knit, crochet, make rugs from recycled materials, make dolls, quilt and create jewelry. And that is where the name of my shop comes from. Gamut means 'the full range'. I wanted the opportunity to display the Gamut of my creations there. My shop was officially open in January 2010. At this time it features my jewelry pieces. I love my shop and my customers! I have met wonderful people through my work.


2.) What inspires you to create your jewelry?
Inspiration for my work is everywhere. Nature, dreams, different cultures, fashion present and past, tribal...

4.) What is your favorite item in your shop?
Currently my favorite piece is The Forest Moon and Bear Pendant Necklace. It represents the ancient she-bear Bear in the forest night environment. I think it is very powerful.

5.) What type of girl do you envision wearing your jewelry?
I really see a gamut of people wearing my jewelry, mainly because my pieces also run the gamut. From dainty, romantic to chunky and bold. For girls in their teens to the great-grandmother. Don't forget men-occassionally I make unisex pieces.
