One of my fave prints of all time is plaid (tied w/ Leopard print but of course). This skirt was purchased months ago at a salvation army... and now I'm finally wearing it. It's thick, so I had to wait for the weather to cool down a bit. I'm really loving maxi skirts, they are incredibly versatile and so comfy. This particular plaid reminds me of Christmas. It's def out there, but I love clothing that really turns heads. Pretty much every outfit I wear will bring stares and comments from strangers that pass by... some comments are good and some are bad... it makes me laugh that some people are just that ignorant to one's personal style... I mean, you would think I had a halloween mask on or something. To me, it's incredibly refreshing when I pass by someone who exhibits a unique style. It means they haven't succumb to the cookie-cutter world we live in. I get the most stares at work, because everyone at my job dresses in jeans and polos or strict business attire (two different extremes I know). My attire (consisting of primarily vintage) doesn't quite fit into that equation, but I like it that way. It defines me and it's my own personal style.

Happy Thursday to everyone! It's my Friday, so I'm heading to a Mexican restaurant to indulge in yummy food and delectable margaritas ;)

  1. LOVE your accessories! That skirt is sooo cool! I'd never be able to pull it off though :/
And I know what you mean, I dress differently at work than everyone else too...and that would have bothered me a while ago because I don't like standing out (shy) but fashion is helping me break out of that a little...haha
