Hey loves! Happy Friday! :) I've got a fab giveaway + Q&A for your today from a great new shop I recently discovered: GENS du MONDE! If you follow my blog on the regular, than you know I'm a lover of arm candy, arm swag, just bracelets in general {what girl isn't these days, right?} -- so naturally I was instantly swooning over GENS du MOND's unique designs! They use bright colors and interesting hooks and clasps that really makes their jewelry stand out! How cool is this necklace? My fave piece from their collection though? The anchor bracelet {recently featured on my blog HERE}. And guess what?? Q&A With GENS du MONDE:

1.) How old is GENS du MONDE?
We established GENS du MONDE in the summer of 2011.

2.) For those of us who are unfamiliar with GENS du MONDE, what does it mean/stand for?
GENS du MONDE is French for “people of the world”, broadly understood as fashionable people, leaders in society, trendsetters...

3.) Who are the designers behind the GENS du MONDE brand?
Everyone on our team contributes to the design process, from our accountant to our graphic designer, but our primary creative is Sanjiv Prasad, who always has the last word.

4.) I love how GENS du MONDE juxtaposes streetwear with high fashion. Was it important for the GENS du MONDE team to have a jewelry line that was highly versatile and unisex?
Yes – Sanj designs with his friends and girlfriend in mind so most of our products are designed to be unisex and worn in and out of the office.

5.) Where does the GENS du MONDE team grab their inspiration from, when designing these pieces?
From the diverse peoples and cultures of Toronto. We also draw inspiration from the cities we visit on our travels – our summer line was inspired by the vibrancy of Barcelona.

6.) Which piece in your collection would you say is the "best seller," and which piece is your fave (if you had to pick one)?
Definitely the anchor bracelets! Our rope necklaces are a close second... but our faves have to be the screw clasps.

7.) How would you recommend styling this fun arm candy?
Stacked or pair them with your favourite time piece – Sanj loves wearing them with his Timex Weekender.

8.) Where do you hope to see the GENS du MONDE brand in the next five years?
We hope to see GENS du MONDE expand into apparel.

9.) What do you think separates GENS du MONDE from other jewelry brands out there?
We incorporate unique materials and hardware into wearable pieces.

10.) If you had to describe GENS du MONDE in three four words or less, which three would you choose?
Bellissimo, Maravilloso, Tutti-Frutti.
