If you've been following my blog for awhile then you're quite aware of my love for prints. Floral, polka-dots, leopard, baroque -- you name it, I'm down for it. But when it comes to stripes my heart just goes pitter patter. I love how versatile a great striped piece can be. It's not busy like a floral or baroque print, yet it can make such an impact on your outfit. I love to scour thrift stores for striped pieces because I find there are more options there than there are in department stores (or even online). My case in point, this awesome candy striper silk shirt that I snagged a couple years ago at a thrift store (for under $5, thank you very much). All of my awesome button-down shirts (mostly silk too) are all from thrift stores. I love how this shirt can easily be dressed up or down. It's effortless styling at it's best.

Hope eveyone is having a fab week so far! xx
