So it's Part 5 of our Seminole Style series and this week I'm giving a shout out to classic staples: the striped tee, slouchy denim, leather satchel, the trench coat, and aviators. Every gal should own a striped tee because it's incredibly versatile (especially if it's neutral colors like black/white)... my striped tee is garnet and gold after my alma mater, which I absolutely love. Try pairing a striped tee with another print like floral, leopard, or camo for a fun twist on the classic look. Next up, the slouchy pair of denim aka "the boyfriend jean". Every gal should own a great pair of slouchy denim. It's the denim you wear when you want to be super comfortable, but still stylish -- because the key in wearing this style of denim is to pair it with fitted pieces so you don't look sloppy. Then there's the leather satchel... that one handbag that may seem a little on the preppy side, but let me just tell you that if there's a handbag that goes with a variety of outfits, it's the leather satchel. Carry it by it's top handle (if there is one) or wear it cross-body. It's the handbag that's equal parts fashionable and functional. Finally, a trench coat and aviators -- I mean if these two pieces aren't classic then I don't know what is. A trench coat is that coat every guy OR gal should own. It's that one coat that can be easily transitioned through the seasons, and it looks great paired with just about any style of clothing. The best part is that it actually polishes up just about anything you wear -- so if it's a t-shirt and leggings kinda day, the trench will be sure to jazz up your look. You really can't go wrong with a trench coat. And the aviators, I mean -- what pair of sunglasses is as classic as the aviator? 'Nuff said.

All and all my game day outfit this week was comfortable yet totally chic and without a doubt helped me to rep my FSU Seminoles with pride -- oh and um, might I just add that we are now ranked #2!! I don't mean to brag, but I'm pretty stoked for our team right now. :)
