Pinot Grigio & Proseco c/o Tiziano Wine

Tiziano Wine recently sent me some of their delicious wine to try and promote on my blog. I must admit, I'm a huge wine-o and so is my mother and husband, so we always like discovering new wines. This past Sunday, when our sweet girl went down for a late afternoon nap, we decided it would be the perfect time to taste test these new wines and munch on our fave snack: cheese and crackers. After all, what's better than wine and cheese? I also recently received this cute chalkboard charger from the Piper Loves Ollie etsy shop, and I knew it would be the perfect platter for our cheeses.

First up was the Pinot Grigio wine. It has a medium body and a fruity tang, comprised of pear and citrus. This wine is best paired with tomato dishes, white pasta, non-grilled seafood, and white meat. It worked out nicely because later in the evening we dined on yummy cheese ravioli and spinach.

Next we tried the Prosecco. I love me some sparkling wine, so I couldn't wait to pop open this bottle. This wine also had a nice fruity aroma, but paired with fine persistent bubbles. This wine is best paired with sushi and asian dishes, as well as oysters, scallops, shrimp, and lobster.
