On Sunday the weather started out pretty mild, but the cold was starting to creep back (in fact, it snowed today in FL -- unreal)... but on Sunday we went on a walk around Turkey Creek, so I knew layers were a must. This puffer vest from Aeropostale has been such a staple for me this winter season. The navy color matches just about anything in my closet, and I love that the inside is a bright lime hue. Another staple in my closet is definitely this camo jacket... one of the best purchases I've ever made, and it was super cheap. It goes with so much in my closet and is the perfect piece to throw on when I'm in a rut and don't know what to wear.
Now let me move on to these awesome tights. If you're like me, you love a good pair of tights in the winter. They have to be thick, can't pinch your toes, and be comfortable to wear. Well, these Bootights are that and so much more. I've always worn my tights with a thick sock if I'm wearing a boot (if I'm wearing a bootie then I usually just wear the tight because the sock would be too thick for the shoe). What's awesome about Bootights is that you no longer have to worry about pairing your tights with a sock -- no matter what shoe you are weairng. It has a comfortable sock attached to the tight itself -- and it isn't bulky or uncomfortable. In fact it has perfect stitching and padding to add extra comfort to your toe pad and heel. Also keeps you feet nice and cool -- which is also a MUST, because who likes to have sweaty feet when they're wearing tights, right?! If you're on the hunt for a new pair of tights, I highly recommend these. I always find spending a little extra money on a good pair of tights is better than having to buy a cheap pair over and over again because they rip or snag.
