High Waisted Pencil Skirt

I love a high waisted skirt, pant, short -- you name it. This vintage high waisted skirt c/o Riley Bella Vintage is a piece I've had in my closet for a couple years now and it's definitely one of my fave pieces to wear. I have curvy hips, so I love body hugging pencil skirts that show off my figure. As long as the length is modest, it can be very flattering and sophisticated.
A great way to wear high waisted pieces is to pair them with crop tops. I feel they are the perfect companion. You don't want to wear a shirt that's long or tucked in when wearing a high waisted bottom because it can eliminate the streamlined look and can add bulk in the waist area, which no one wants. A crop top is just long enough to touch the waist and sometimes even show a little line of skin -- which is just the right amount of sexy!
This new handbag is c/o Free Endearment and I am obsessed with the style and the stripes. It's the perfect spring accessory and will go with a variety of my outfits this season. I love it's multiple compartments inside. I carry a lot in my purse, so I like to stay organized.
And let me talk about this new chunky chain necklace c/o DERNG! It's such a fun piece to wear and really pulls together a look with ease. Don't get me wrong, I love delicate necklaces (especially right now), but a chunky necklace or bracelet will always be my first choice. I love that this necklace has two layers, so it lays nicely and doesn't look bulky.
