Lately the weather here in Florida has been crummy. We've had a lot of rain on the weekends and during the week there's been a bit of a chill in the air. It hasn't quite warmed up entirely -- I've been praying for beach weather for weeks!! Last night we shot some photos by the docks and the weather was a bit chilly, so this velvet top was the perfect solution. I think velvet is such a fun fabric to wear. It's got a bit of a vintage vibe that I love, and this rich navy blue hue is just too perfect. Since this top has a bit of a crop to it, I paired it with these white high-waisted cigarette jeans by James Jeans. I'm all about a high-waisted jean as of late (see my recent post HERE) and this one is going to be on constant rotation.
