Mother's Day Gift Ideas w/ Agraria & Obiqo + Giveaway!

I love trying out new beauty products especially when it involves lotions! Give me a lotion that is silky smooth, hydrates my skin, AND smells amazing and I'm smitten. That's why when Agraria asked if I wanted to review some of their products I was definitely down to try. Agraria means "from the earth" and has been around since the 70's y'all, so they know how to make some killer beauty products. They specialize in home fragrance, but also carry products for the hair, as well as bath bars, and hand & body lotions. I couldn't help but be intrigued when I saw their Air Essence product. I love diffusers, but I have a hard time finding diffusers that actually work. Air Essence not only looks really pretty, but the smelling power is intense and long lasting. I chose the Lime & Orange Blossoms scent because I love a citrus scent. It doesn't smell like your typical diffuser -- this scent was smooth and sophisticated. What I loved most about this diffuser is the way it's made. It diffuses the scent through sola flowers (aka balsa wood flowers) made from dried peel of the tapioca plant that is sewn onto a cotton wick. They are all handmade one at a time by skilled artisans. This material is completely natural and is safe for the earth. As the essential oils are absorbed by the cotton wicks, the flower petals begin to change to the color of the oil. How awesome, right?! I went with the same scent in the hand & body lotion and was instantly obsessed. This lotion hydrates my skin without leaving an oily residue. It's blended with vitamin E and extracts of marine algae (a natural anti-oxidant). The scent smelled fresh and almost like aromatherapy without being too strong. It left my hands and body soft and the scent even lasted throughout the day. I was pretty impressed. Lastly, I chose the Lemon Verbena Shampoo & Conditioner. I wanted to switch up the scent, but still say in the citrus family because I love the clean fresh scent. These products left my hair soft, without weighing it down. These products also contain natural ingredients such as: wheat proteins, aloe leaf juice, goldenseal root, henna, wild cherry, gingko biloba, rosemary, macadamia seed oil, avocado oil, vitamin E, jojoba oil, marigold, chamomile, and horsetail.







Now that I'm in my final year as a 20-something (eeekkk, where did the time go), I've started to really embrace the night creams, facial serums, and eye cream products. I wear SPF daily and am almost always wearing a hat when we're out at the beach or on the boat, but I also know how important it is to have a good evening routine for the face, neck, and eyes. I've recently jumped on the serum band wagon and I have to say I wish I would've started awhile ago. When Obiqo Skincare asked if I wanted to try some of their products I was totally down. Obiqo is based in New Zealand and all their products are sea-inspired. They use New Zealand sea kelp blended with sweet herbs, natural flora extracts, essential oils and sea lavender. I've read the benefits of sea kelp for the skin, so I couldn't wait to try some Obiqo products. I went with the Smoothing Eye Cream , which is enriched w/ anti-aging marine nutrients, along with the Intensive Facial Serum, that has natural marine peptides and hydrating hyadisine. My favorite was the eye cream. It's cool and thick and makes my eyes feel rested, hydrated and oh so soft. I've been applying it for a few weeks and have noticed that my eyes look more awake than they ever have. As for the facial serum. I had a little issue in the beginning because my face is sensitive (and when I switch up my facial products sometimes I will break out). However, once my face got used to the product (after about a week) it felt smooth and hydrated.
