Classic Shift

{dress: Seraphine Maternity (buy alone or buy as part of The Bump Kit) c/o // scarf: vintage Dior // heels: Pour La Victoire (old, but found it HERE & similar style HERE)) // bag: Merci-Fortune c/o // sunglasses: Prada // rings: Gorjana c/o & YSL}

Don't we all just love a classic LBD? It's timeless and is definitely that one staple in every gal's closet that makes us feel instantly beautiful. There's nothing better than a LBD in a classic style -- bring in the shift dress. The shift is a style that is flattering on every woman and can be dressed up or down with ease. I decided to shake things up a bit and style this black shift dress w/ a vintage scarf. Sure, I could have easily reached for that sparkly statement necklace, but my vintage scarf is a unique way to add a pop of color to my look while still playing into the "classic" appeal.
This black shift dress is part of Seraphine Maternity's Bump Kit, which I have the pleasure of reviewing. This is the first piece from the kit that I'm styling for you. I have to give mad props to Seraphine Maternity -- 1.) for creating the perfect Bump Kit for us pregos (seriously genius) and 2.) for including such classic staples in the kit. They seriously picked the true essentials every gal needs, pregnant or not. The Kit includes this shift dress I'm wearing, as well as the bodycon skirt (also in black), the secret support vest (or white cami), and the seamless legging (also in black). I'll be styling each of these pieces on the blog, so definitely stay tuned for that! In the meantime you can check out The Bump Kit HERE and even watch a short video to see how to style the pieces in the kit!
