So, the temps in FL may still be hot and humid, but I just can't help but feel excited about fall fashion, anyone else with me? Last weekend I was in the mood for some fall styling inspo, so I headed to Target for the latest Elle, Vogue, and In Style September magazine issues and let me tell y'all, they are chock full of fall fashion inspo. I basically want to create a collage of all my fave looks on a cork board, because there are a ton I want to recreate.
Case in point, my sleeveless trench look today. I was so inspired when I saw the "How To Wear: Sleeveless Coat" article in Elle magazine that I had to re-create the look myself. I remembered I had a sleeveless trench tucked away in my closet, so I was pretty giddy to start styling.
You start off with a classic button down (or flowy blouse) paired w/ slim black pants, and chic pointy toe stilettos. Then you top it all off with a sleeveless coat, which really helps to pull the entire look together.
A sleeveless coat is incredibly versatile, y'all... don't let it intimidate you. I promise you it's not as "stuffy" as it may seem. You can pair it with a top and skirt, or even over a dress. Wear it with a pair of slip-on sneakers, a pair of riding boots, or fun pumps like I did. Think of it as your ultimate transitional piece into fall. It's "outfit-framing perfection" says Elle, and I couldn't agree more.
