I have to say I've been really excited to style this Julie Brown Designs coat on the blog. For one, it's leopard, but secondly it combines two colors that I will always love paired together: pink and red. Put all three of those together and you have a match made in fashion heaven, my friends. I think what I love most about this coat is that it's so reminiscent of the brightly colored/printed vintage pieces I have in my closet. I just love when a modern piece of clothing has a throw-back feel to it.

I kept the rest of my look fairly simple w/ one of my fave pairs of maternity denim by Paige (coated jeans are always on point, y'all), a classic silk button-down (Equipment makes the best), and pointy toe black pumps. Of course, I had to push the envelope a little further by pairing this look w/ a funky bag. Which, I have to be honest and will tell y'all that I am NOT a chevron fan. In fact, chevron usually makes me cringe. However, there was something about this black and white beauty that made me excited to style it. Perhaps it was the fact that it was black and white and not spring-like colors that we usually see the print in, or the fact that I think it paired pretty perfectly with this pink and red leopard coat. Not sure, but either way I think it worked for this look.
