The sunshine is finally back, y'all -- and I couldn't be more stoked! We've had crummy overcast and rain for the past couple weeks (even ruined our trip to Myrtle Beach), but yesterday the skies were clear and the beach was beautiful. We weren't expecting such clear waters after all the storms we've had. I couldn't wait to break out this new swimsuit from Express. Did y'all know that Express now carries swimsuits? They have awesome styles in pretty colors and prints. I've been loving the one-piece trend for awhile now, but haven't been lucky in finding a style that fits my long torso. This halter-style one-piece from Express fits me nicely and the strappy, plunging style makes it anything but basic. I'm still trying to get my pre-pregnancy bod back, but this suit made me feel comfortable. Right now I have to start focusing on toning my bod. It's crazy to see the changes your body goes through to become pregnant and then the changes it makes after you make birth. Sometimes you don't even recognize your body in the mirror. After my first child, I've come to terms with my insecurities and realize that the most important thing out of being pregnant is the beautiful blessing at the end. So if it takes me a little longer to get my body back to it's pre-pregnancy state, I'm OK with it. I hope my posts can inspire any of you that might have insecurities about your body. It's about embracing your beauty inside and out. I will say my husband has been so great at always making me feel beautiful, no matter what. He's a sweetie! ;)
I hope the spring-time weather is warming/clearing up for y'all! I'm looking forward to more trips to the beach -- bring on summer!!
Looking beautiful in this beach time outfit! I like your swimsuit very much!
