Island Vibes

{dress: H&M c/o // belt: H&M c/o // heels: Zara (old, similar here) // sunnies: Saint Laurent // bag: Rebecca Minkoff (also here -- p.s. I linked to lighter shades of the same color bc they no longer carry the darker "petrol" color) // watch: La Mer Collectionsc/o}

I'm all about the tropical prints in the summer -- especially palm and pineapple prints! Who's with me?! I live by the beach, so I'm fortunate to feel like I'm on vacay year-round, but I'm sure y'all can relate when I say tropical prints have a way of making you feel like you're vacationing away on a tropical island somewhere. Tropical prints are even hotter this year than they were last, and there are so many different versions and styles to choose from. I've styled so many versions of the trend on the blog. From my matchy-matchy set a couple weeks ago, to a leaf print dress back in March. One of my faves was probably my outfit from last year when I styled a vintage two-piece set, or back in 2013 when I styled a vintage tropical wrap dress -- such great finds! I've even styled a vintage tropical blazer on the blog before! I'm hoping to have some great luck in finding some more vintage gems this year, but in the meantime finding affordable versions of the trend (like the one I'm wearing from H&M) is a no brainer.
Are you loving this trend? If so, how do you wear it?

  5. I love this palm print! My favorite colors to wear year round tend to be darks, but most summer prints are so bright-it's hard to find an in between! This one definitely fits this bill :)
