Crab Island

{swimsuit: Laundry by Shelli Segal c/o // sunnies: Quay // scarf: Tuli Designs c/o (also love this one and this one)}

Last week the fam and I went to Crab Island on my Dad's boat: The Sun Devil. He's ASU Alumni, so of course he named his boat after the team mascot -- and how fitting right? The weather was perfect and the water was even better -- emerald green and super clear, you could see the ocean floor! Crab Island is a big sandbar in the Destin Bay and it's a hot spot for boats in the summer. There's barges with food and drinks, volleyball nets, and climb walls and slides that float for the kids. Basically a playground on the water. We've been coming for years, so it's ever more fun now that I'm able to take my kids to one of my fave childhood spots.

I've been meaning to share this beautiful bikini and scarf with y'all. Super bummed that I can't locate it online though. I've linked to some other fab styles by Laundry below. How perfect is this bikini and these sunnies together? I love how they matched the emerald water!

I love a good scarf and when it has a fab print and beautiful colors I love it even more! Tuli Designs has some gorgeous scarves, y'all! You can wear them as a swimsuit cover-up like I did here, or even as a headscarf or turban. You can also rock this around your neck to the office or with your everyday outfit. It just adds a fun pop of color and print to any outfit! One of my fave ways to wear a scarf is to drape it around my neck and then belt it. It's a fun way to jazz up a simple blazer or utility jacket. I'll be sure to style this scarf in other fun ways, so stay tuned for more photos!

  3. That scarf is gorgeous! I snagged on on sale from Target this year to wear with my bikini, but I wasn't sure if anyone still did that so I was afraid to rock it at the beach. I'm glad to know that it's still popular to do so!
