Fall Lip Colors + GIVEAWAY With Beautycounter! {CLOSED}

{Lip Sheer in Currant // Maya Brenner letter & number necklaces}

Fall is finally here and a new season calls for new makeup shades! I always look forward to fall because all of the colors are so bold and rich. I recently had the opportunity to try out some beauty products from Beautycounter. You can check out my full review here.

Among my fave products were the Lip Sheers. I love these because they aren't your typical lipsticks. They're super light-weight (they feel like a balm or lipgloss, but not sticky) and they hydrate and condition my lips. The colors are sheer, so not as pigmented as your typical lipstick. However, you can build the color and make it as sheer or as bold as you want. Oh, and they have a hint of vanilla planifolia making them smell oh so yummy! I reviewed the pretty Rose color here (which is also a great color for fall), but above are 4 other colors that I feel are perfect for the fall (and winter) months -- Twig, Coral, Currant and Plum!

I think we all know that deep reds, mauves and plums are always on trend lip colors for fall. I have to say though, after reading this lipstick guide for fall I was pleasantly surprised to see nude and coral on the list. I always assumed those colors were more appropriate for spring and summer. I think the 70's trend might have a lot to do with the nude and coral, since those were popular lipstick colors back then. I'm all about a nude or coral lip. The Twig is so great for everyday or with a smokey eye at night. The Coral adds a fun pop of color to any look.

Out of the 5 lip colors above my favorites were the Coral and the Currant. I thought they both looked great with my skin tone. The Currant and the Plum are a lot alike, but the Currant has more of a reddish tone versus the Plum with the purplish tone. As I said above, these are lip sheers, so you can wear the colors as sheer or as bold as you want.

Have y'all tried any Beautycounter products? If so, have you tried the Lip Sheers? I would love to know which color is your favorite!
