The menswear trend is still going strong and this long vest (for under $35) is the perfect way to style that trend, without having to shell out too much. I've always loved how a vest can instantly add polish to an outfit. Whether it's a denim vest, utility style, duster, or trench-style it's the perfect topper for so many looks. I am loving the longer style of this vest and the split back adds a bit of edge. I'm eager to style this for fall with a turtleneck or paired with a long-sleeve tee and chunky scarf.

Along with blazers, vests are one of those closet staples that I can't get enough of -- they're just so versatile. Another way I love to style vests is over a dress. It gives an otherwise girly look a bit of tomboy appeal.
