For this outfit post I'm going to share with y'all two of my fave tips for transitioning a summery dress into fall, and they both involve one of my fave closet staples: the moto jacket!

One of the best ways to get more mileage out of your summer dresses and/or skirts is to pair them with a fall texture like leather, suede, or velvet! The easiest way to do this is with a moto jacket. The moto jacket not only keeps you warm, but it also edges up summery pieces to give them more of a fall-like look.

My second tip? Wear a moto jacket as a top! Zip your moto jacket up over your favorite dress (or skirt), scrunch up the sleeves, and you have a fab new outfit that's super stylish and took mere seconds to achieve!
