I've been blogging for over 5 years now and although my style has evolved through the years, there's one outfit that has been my go-to and is totally "me". That outfit consists of a simple tee or tank, a great pair of jeans and a really awesome blazer or jacket. Of course, a great pair of shoes always finishes off the look, because, well, I'm a shoe addict. But y'all already knew that. ;)

Recently I was given the opportunity to collaborate with my favorite local shopping destination: The Destin Commons. I was able to shop my fave stores to create a look all my own, and this is what I came up with. A chic and slightly edgy look, comprised of fresh neutrals and fun details.

Usually when I shop for a head-to-toe look, I use one piece as a jumping off point to creating my look and then go from there. These fringed heels from Steve Madden are what I first fell in love with. I know it's super cold out right now, but we know this chilly weather is not going to last long for us Floridians, so I scooped these beauties up so I'd be prepared for the spring. I love their neutral color and I feel that they will be my go-to heels through the summer -- aren't they awesome?! They also come in 4 other colors, including red (which I just may need to scoop up as well #toogood).

Once I had my shoes, I headed to H&M because they always have on-trend pieces at affordable prices. I also love that H&M always does prints so well, so when I stumbled upon this jacquard-weave jacket, it was love at first sight. If you've been following me for awhile then you know my obsession with prints, especially tribal prints, so this was a definite #need. I loved it's light, bluish-gray and cream coloring - it's so fresh and perfect for spring.

The next item I was on the hunt for was a great pair of jeans. Jeans are also my obsession (I own too many to count). I love that the quality of H&M denim is really great, yet their price points are super low. I snagged these distressed girlfriend jeans for under $40! Total score!! The girlfriend style is really on trend right now and so are gray jeans in general, so I had to try these on. I really loved the over-all fit of them. It hugged me in all the right places, yet it still had a relaxed fit. Thing of the girlfriend style as a slimmer, more fitted boyfriend jean.

Next, I headed to Express because I love their One Eleven line of easy tees and tanks. They're great quality and are under $20 -- you can't beat it! I found the perfect scoop neck tank (that's also super soft) to go underneath my jacket.

Now all I needed were accessories. One of my fave places to shop for great jewelry and bags (at awesome price points) is Forever 21 -- I'm sure y'all can agree with me on this. Since my jacket has a tribal feel and my heels are fringe, I wanted to keep the edgy/bohemian feel going, so I picked out these Aztec-style drop earrings and this rad long pendant necklace. I am ob-sessed with pendant necklaces -- especially lariats because they are 2 styles in one -- a choker + pendant. They add instant coolness. ;)

Just when I was thinking I wasn't going to find a bag for my look, I found this super cute crossbody bag in camel. It definitey goes with my neutral look and the tassel detailing went perfect with the overall style of my look.

So, what do y'all think of my head-to-toe look? I'm pretty smitten with it and I have to say, it's a pretty awesome feeling when you can find every piece for your outfit, all in one place. I think it's safe to say this shopping trip was
