Goodbye 2015 // Hello 2016

Happy New Year, y'all!! Can you believe 2015 is already gone?! It flew by with such a quickness, I cannot believe it. 2015 had a lot of special moments. Our baby girl, Bridgett was born on January 9th, Courtney started going to preschool 2 days a week in August, we had quite a few fun family road trips and adventures, and I had so many great opportunities with the blog -- I am blessed beyond measure! I know I say it every year, but I feel that I truly cannot say it enough, THANK Y'ALL SO MUCH for all your love and support from May 2010 (when I first started the blog) until now. Without y'all this blog wouldn't exist, so I will be forever thankful. I've had a lot of fun branching out and creating new content for y'all this year -- more beauty, home/lifestyle and family posts! I hope to continue that into 2016. However, above all, I really want to get back to my roots -- VINTAGE. Vintage and thrifting is my true passion and that is what brought me to start Belle de Couture in the first place. I've always loved experimenting with fashion, visiting thrift stores in hopes of finding that next treasure, trying to recreate a runway or on trend look with items I already own or items I've newly thrifted. I feel I've gotten away from that in the past couple years, and I really want to bring that back. I LOVE collaborating with brands and I will continue to do that as long as I'm blessed with opportunities to do so, BUT I feel I need to get back to what I love the most, and that's mixing vintage with designer and every day pieces. SO, stay tuned for more vintage this year and maybe even some posts where I take you along with me to thrift shops -- would y'all like that?
