I have a habit of thrifting really awesome vintage pieces and then tucking them away in my closet until the perfect moment to wear them. Case in point, this vintage suede bomber. I stumbled upon this rad number about 4 years ago and haven't worn it once. It's in mint condition and I paid less than $5 for it -- total score, right? I was instantly struck by it's western flare and cropped style (if you're a long-time follower then you know I love anything western or tribal). Plus, it fit me like a glove. It had to come home with me. I knew it was a statement piece and would be perfect for the blog one day, but I was in no rush to wear it. I do this with a lot of my vintage finds. I let them "marinate" in my closet until I come up with the perfect ensemble. I think this jacket went perfectly with this lace-up top and high-waisted skinny jean. The double buckle belt and star-studded boots were the perfect finishing touches. My look is boho chic meets western edge.
