If there's one category of vintage that I can't stop hoarding collecting it's blazers and vests, without a doubt. I've said it on my blog plenty of times and I'll continue to say it -- a blazer or vest can instantly transform your look, even if it's a simple tank and a pair of jeans. I also go for eye-catching prints or bold colors and this 60's floral vest is just that. I found it close to 6 years ago (about when I first started my blog) and it will always be one of my top faves. It doesn't even have a tag in it, so I think it was most likely handmade. The detail is so good -- a plush velvet-like texture (that reminds me of an old antique couch) with smooth satin lining. I'm pretty sure I paid less than $5 for this gem too, which makes it an even better find.

I kept the rest of my look pretty simple, with a black tank, black distressed skinny jeans and my latest go-to in the shoe department: mules. Seriously, if you don't own a pair of mules yet, I highly suggest you pick some up. There are so many different styles to choose from and they are so easy to just throw on and go -- comfy too! Another go-to piece as of late is this gold collar necklace. It's adjustable so I can bend it to make it tighter or looser around my neck. It can be worn high or low on the neck. It's simple, yet adds just enough polish to any look.
