#Backtoschool with Shoe Carnival + GIVEAWAY!

Disclosure: Shoe Carnival provided me with product and compensation. The opinions I have shared about the products are my own.

I love when a new season is here because that means shopping for new items for my closet, as well as the rest of my family’s. With fall comes back-to-school shopping and for us that means new clothes and shoes for our 3 ½ year old preschooler, Courtney. If you’re a long-time follower of mine, then you probably already know that I’m a total shoe addict. If there’s one thing I splurge on the most, it’s definitely shoes. And that means shoes for my entire family, not just myself.

Although I have been known to spend a pretty penny on a great pair of shoes, the “thrifter” in me is always on the hunt for the best deal. When I’m shopping for shoes for my entire family (including myself) I love going to Shoe Carnival. They have so many great brands to choose from, and the prices are so good! Let’s face it, when you’re shopping for shoes for your entire family, you don’t want to be spend all day going from store-to-store. It’s ideal when you can visit one store and get something for everyone on your list.

We recently visited our local Shoe Carnival for some back-to-school shoes for Courtney. She loves picking out what to wear each morning before school, so this was a shopping trip she was excited about. She’s just like her mama, in that, her favorite part of her outfit are her shoes, so she had a grand ‘ol time trying on a variety of styles from brands like Nike, Adidas, and New Balance. We settled on a pair of cute polka-dotted sneakers by Vans: the Atwood Low G in Blue/Pink Dots. They were so cute that we had to get my youngest daughter, Bridgett, a pair – the Vans Atwood V Girls in Blue/English. P.S. I love when my girl’s match and it’s something I try to do as much as possible because I know sooner than later they are NOT going to want to wear similar clothing or shoes. ;)

Once I saw the girl’s with their cute Vans I just couldn’t help myself and had to find a pair of my own. After all, I’ve been a Vans girl since high school. I walked the aisles and found these super cute Vans – the Atwood Textile in Jersey/Sea Blue. SOLD! Of course, when my husband saw that we three were getting shoes, he, of course, couldn’t be left out, so we found him a rad pair too – the Vans Atwood Deluxe in Wash Twill Gray. So rad, huh? Love the cork detail on the tongue and heel.

Hey, a family that wears Vans together, sticks together, right?! Or something like that… but how cute that we are all matching? I know I know, kind of cheesy – but I love it!

The best part (aside from the fact that we purchased 4 pairs of shoes UNDER $150) is that everyone was happy with their shoes! If you’re a mama like me, then you know that those days are rare when you are able to get the entire family happy all at the same time. So now we all have cool (and super comfy) kicks to transition into the fall!
