Happy Monday, loves! Sorry for the late post today, but this weekend was a BUSY one, so catching up on some things today. This is a look I wore a week ago and it's one of those looks that I feel the most ME in. Believe it or not, I am drawn more towards the casual, edgier vibe than dressier. Don't get me wrong, I do really LOVE to dress up in fun prints, colors -- even sequins! But, there's something more relaxing and effortless with casual looks like this, plus I'm a busy mom to two little ones, so it's just easier. One thing I will ALWAYS love is some denim and a good jacket and I've actually been a fan of the bomber jacket for awhile -- you may recall this post here and here == but I'm loving that they are on trend right now in a big way. I own quite a few bomber jackets -- some even vintage gems that I scored while thrifting! I have a new one that I'll be sharing with y'all soon, but this olive one is definitely going to be a go-to into the fall and winter. It's perfect for layering and the olive green hue is has that military vibe that is also a big trend right now. I love the quilted sleeves too! I paired it with a graphic tee (an oldie but a goodie), one of my fave pairs of denim, some comfy kicks and some new accessories. These cuffs are almost always on my wrist and this new watch and belt from Tokyo Bay are so ME! A little southwest, a little color -- a lot of statement. This belt can also be doubled around the waist over a jacket, top, or dress. I plan on styling it other ways soon on the blog.
I also plan on pairing a bomber with a dress or skirt soon for a little tomboy chic mix. I always love to mix unexpected pieces together. ;)
P.S. This Dagne Dover bag is also a fave of mine and it is currently on major sale! It holds A TON! So if you're in a need of a good work bag, diaper bag, or just everyday bag than this is a MUST-HAVE, y'all! xx
Are you a fan of bomber jackets? If so, how do you wear yours?
