In this digital world we live in, we've lost the personal touch of communicating with the ones we care about the most. While sending e-mails is certainly the quickest and easiest way to send a message, there's nothing more special than sending someone a handwritten note. It's so much more genuine and thoughtful than typing up an e-mail. Plus it really shows that someone how much you care because you took the time to pick out a card and hand-write a special note. My Grandma sends the BEST cards and will send them to me on any ordinary day, just to let me know she's thinking of me.
I don't know about y'all, but what excites me just as much as sending and receiving handwritten notes is going to the store and picking out the prettiest cards to write them on. I try to find any reason I can to send a greeting card to someone, just to send that pretty card.
Premium paper brand, Papyrus recently partnered with American fashion designer, Lela Rose on a beautiful collection full of fun and fashionable cards. Lela Rose's designs are beautiful and feminine, with the perfect amount of girly glam. She also loves textured fabrics and embellishments, as well as bold color and patterns -- a girl after my own heart! ;) These cards are certainly not your average greeting cards. From sequins, to sketched gowns, glitter polka-dots and lace overlays -- there are so many beautiful options to choose from for elevating your gift giving experience. One of my favorites from the collection resembles a pink, crocodile clutch. It's way too cute!
It comes at no surprise that Papyrus would create such a beautiful collection. After all, they are a brand that is known for their uncompromising quality, inspired by a love of art and craftsmanship. Papyrus is also strongly rooted in the fashion world, as they have been present in the past 9 seasons of NYFW.
We've seen designer collaborations in everything from fashion, to jewelry and even cell phone cases, so to see it enter the greeting card industry is definitely exciting. Who doesn't love receiving a beautiful card in the mail? Especially one with unique details and embellishments (what Papyrus is known for).
With gorgeous cards such as these, it's not hard to find a reason to send one to someone you care about. Whether you're saying thank you, congratulations, or simply letting someone know you're thinking of them, your message will be much more significant and sincere by sending a handwritten card from Papyrus. I'm especially looking forward to sending one to my close friends on their birthdays, or at my best friend's upcoming bridal shower.
I may not ever get my hands on one of Lela Rose's beautiful designs, but Papyrus has made her gorgeous designs easily accessible through this beautiful collection. Heck, I may just keep a few for myself -- wouldn't they make great artwork on a gallery wall? P.S. I already have one in mind to send to my sweet Grandma! ;)
