Olive OTS Jumpsuit

Hey my lovelies!! I know it's been a HOT minute since I've posted on here, and I do apologize for that. My life has been through a lot of changes in the past year -- BIG changes to say the least. I've been super focused on myself, but most importantly focused on my two beautiful daughters. Sometimes we just need to take a little break from things for to prioritize, but also help revitalize ourselves. I was feeling super overwhelmed this past year, just juggling everything going on in my life. Now I'm in more of a routine with things and I'm ready to start getting back into styling fun looks for y'all -- including VINTAGE. It's been AWHILE since I've posted some vintage/thrifted pieces. If you're a long-time follower of mine then you know that's what initially drove me to start my blog. I loved inspiring y'all to step outside of the box by incorporating unique thrift finds into everyday (and on-trend) looks. So I"m def going to start getting back into that. But, above all, I just want y'all to know that life is great for my girls and I and we're happy. :) P.S. I am posting on IG still (and more frequently on there than on the blog), so if you're not already following me on there, lets' be friends! :D @belledecouture

Now let's get down to the main focus of this post -- this killer jumpsuit from Banana Republic. I am a big fan of utilitarian pieces, and I love that this jumpsuit juxtaposes that structured, military feel with the feminine off-the-shoulder, ruffled style. It cinches at the waist AND it has pockets. It also comes in a pretty golden beige -AND- you can buy it in petite, regular, or tall, so it's flattering on all body-types. I've said this countless times before, and I'll continue to say it: Banana Republic has always done a great job of designing classic, timeless pieces that are also on trend. It's refreshing to know that each piece I get from BR is something that will last (high quality design), but also something I can pull from my closet year-after-year.

I love that this jumpsuit is made of a thick, twill material, so it will transition really nicely into the cool, fall temps. I can even see myself pairing it with a simple tee (even long-sleeve) to make it more casual. I'm thinking a black/white long-sleeve tee with a pair sneakers for day, as the temps get cooler. Banana Republic is all about style that you don't have to overthink and this jumpsuit is just that -- completely effortless (oh, add chic & comfortable too!).

These ankle-strap heels were an instant fave for me. I love me some buckles and these have the buckles at the toe and at the ankle. They're made of the softest suede, and are block-heeled so they're super comfy. I feel I could walk around in these all day/night and my feet would be fine. They also come in a pretty navy-blue color, as well as a burgundy-wine color (both perfect for fall!). They even come in a lower heeled version, if this taller version is not your style. And p.s. low heels are so in this season, so if you've never been a fan of the kitten-style, this shoe (in the lower version) would be the perfect heel to get your feet wet with the low-heel trend. It's chunky heel makes it not-so-dainty and very easy/comfortable to walk in.

P.S. Banana Republic is having their Friends & Family sale right now, where EVERYTHING is 40% OFF w/ code: BRFRIEND
