Hey there! I hope everyone's weekend is off to a smashing start :) I just finished yummy breakfast {via the ah-mazing husband of mine}, and soon I'll be off to the thrift shops to try and gather some new goodies for the house. Yes, I LOVE to shop for clothing and accessories, but my other love is to shop for housewares, and about 80% of my house is filled with items I have picked up at a thrift/antique store. I've been meaning to do a post on some of my fave items in my house... so be on the look out for that in the near future.
As for this outfit, it was a quick ensemble I put together about a week ago. Very minimal. I had been lusting over the Isabel Marant "Poppy bow-embellished suede pumps" since Christmas of last year, and I was over the moon when I stumbled upon these similar heels on the shoedazzle website. They were a fraction of the cost of the real ones! Warning: they are verrrryy narrow in the toe of the heel, so they aren't the most comfortable heels in my closet. What we do for fashion, huh?
Also, please disregard the fact that I tucked the WRONG side of my shirt into my jeans! Ugh! It's quite annoying to look at, but I wanted to show these heels off to ya'll. It's funny, when you're running out the door and trying to get photos done for the blog... sometimes you don't notice your necklace is on wrong... or your belt is not centered... or in this case, the wrong side of my shirt is tucked in {should have tucked in the side underneath (the buttons side), then it would've laid more nicely}. Oh well, ya'll get the point, it's just the OCD perfectionist part of me coming out {haha}! ;)
Have a great weekend lovelies! xoxo!
P.S. Don't forget to check out my Q&A post! If you've been wanting to ask me something then ASK AWAY HERE! I'll be answering all the questions in a week or two.

Hey loves! Just a quick post today, as I'm feeling a little under the weather and need to rest! This is an outfit I wore recently. It made me feel so pretty and girly. I love all the bright colors, and the skirt is one of my faves. One, because it's a midi-length (a trend that I'm just loving at the moment). Two, because it's SUPER soft, and Three, it has pockets! I love a skirt with pockets!
I hope everyone's week is winding down and everyone has a fun weekend planned. I get to see one of my BEST friends this weekend. So excited! It's been like two years since I've seen her AND we'll be getting together at her first baby shower! :) I cannot wait!
Lastly, I just want to give a BIG THANKS to everyone who follows my blog, visits my blog, and for those of you that leave me the sweetest comments ever! THANK YOU! :) You keep me going on the days that I feel like just stopping the blog all-together (and yes, that happens sometimes). You all remind me how fun it is to blog, and why I started in the first place. So thanks! I'm coming up on my blog's one year anniversary next month, and I cannot believe how fast time flies and also how my style has evolved from the moment I've started. Fashion blogging has really inspired me so much, and most of my inspiration comes from all the other ah-mazing blogs out there! So thanks for inspiring ME! ;) Today I reached my 700th follower! Makes me happy! Xo!
P.S. I did my first Q&A post the other day, so if you've been wanting to ask me something then ASK AWAY HERE! I'll be answering all the questions in a week or two.

Hey darlings! I hope everyone's week has been going well... mine has been SUPER busy, so I am definitely ready for the weekend.
How uniquely ah-some is this dress? I love it! The fabulous JoAnn from the Riley Bella Vintage Shop sent it to me, and my eyes lit up as soon as I opened the package. I'm really liking the new "shorter in the front, longer in the back" tail dresses and skirts that I'm seeing everywhere... so it's definitely interesting how this vintage dress fits the current trend. I've always had a thing for gray dresses, ever since I was a little girl. It all started with this one puffy sleeve, ruffly in the front, gray dress my Granny bought me for my 8th Birthday. It is my absolute fave dress from childhood. I made my Mother keep it because I hope to have a girl one day that can wear it. I wish I had a photo of it, so I could show ya'll... maybe that will be a post I do sometime in the future. ;)
P.S. I did my first Q&A post the other day, so if you've been wanting to ask me something then ASK AWAY HERE! I'll be answering all the questions in a week or two.
Hey dolls! How pretty is this blouse? I just love this shade of blue and the print is so eye-catching! The sweet Tara from the lovely vintage shop: Cherry Bloom Vintage, sent me this and I couldn't wait to style it! It'd be easy to pair this blouse with a neutral bottom, but I wanted to make it really pop with this bright yellow pencil skirt. Also, how cool is this birkin-esque handbag I picked up at the thrift store for only $5!?

My look from Saturday when the hubbs and I had yummy food and drinks by the beach! :D The weather was perfect!

Hey lovelies! I hope everyone had a fabulous Easter weekend, I know I did! This is the outfit I wore to church on Sunday. Not a typical dress for me, but being a girl from the south I do love me some Lilly! Sometimes it's fun to be extra girly! :)

I hope everyone's weekend is off to a great start! This is an outfit I wore during the week on a double date to a sushi restaurant. Just fun and casual. I've been on the hunt for a vintage fringed shawl for some time now, and found this one the exact same day for only $2! Can't be that! I love the color too, so perfect to pair with black, creams, or browns.
Please check out Denimology's Style Bloggers Denim Outfit of the Week and vote for your fave denim look! I'm in the running, so if you vote for me THANK YOU!! :) xo!
Also, I did my first Q&A post yesterday, so if you've been wanting to ask me something then ASK AWAY HERE! I'll be answering all the questions in a week or two.
Hey dolls! I'm coming up on my 1 year anniversary with my blog and I thought what a better way to celebrate that anniversary then to do a Q&A post. I have yet to do one on the blog thus far, and I get questions here and there so I figured one post dedicated to asking me questions was perfect. Ask me fashion-related questions, hobby-related, if you would like my opinion on something, or anything you'd like to know about ME! I'm eager to see what ya'll will ask me, so ASK AWAY! Post your questions in a comment on this post and I will gather them up in a week or two and answer them all in one or two posts (depending on how many I receive!). Happy Friday! :D Xo
{p.s. please do not ask any inappropriate questions because I will just delete them and they will not be answered, thank you!}
